For the Love of Junk

July 26, 2009

I just listed a new bead woven bracelet on Etsy. I like how this one drapes so smoothly against the skin. I made it using 3 different colors of Japanese seed beads and gray pearls with sterling silver clasps. The base is right angle weave with an added 2nd layer of "netted" seed beads and pearls giving the piece real dimension. I finished the edge with a technique that gives the beads a ruffled look. What do you think?!
